Love Birra tacos? If you’re looking for a fast and easy way to make them, try out Birria Bombs. While making seasoning blends is a great way to enhance food, perfecting one for this purpose was beyond my skill set. I was so excited when I met Brirra Bombs at Expo West. I had a sample on-site and was hooked!

Best Way To Cook With Birria Bombs

Spray your crockpot with a nonstick spray. This will help the meat not stick to the crock and make clean up a breeze. (I used an 8 quart crockpot)

Dice the chuck steak into about one-inch cubes or strips. If using a different meat, use this size as well.

Pour the water over the steak in the crockpot.

Drop the Birria Bomb into the crockpot.

Set the crockpot on low and cook for at least four to six hours. You want the meat tender enough to shred.

Store the shredded meat in the juices in the fridge in an air-tight container for up to three days after making the meat. Allow this to cool properly before putting in the fridge. (Mine never lasts this long)

You can freeze leftovers as well for up to three months, only freeze after proper cooling.
