This Easy Chocolate Chip Cake Recipe is perfect for holiday dinners or potluck gatherings! My mom used to make this for bunco get-togethers, and it was always a favorite of everyone who tried it! She originally got this chocolate chip sensation from Pamperchef, but you can use any bakeware stone to make this.

It’s the holiday season, and my favorite thing about this time of year is the baking!! You may know this as the Chocolate Chip Sensation from Pampered Chef, and it is indeed delicious. I remember growing up, no matter where we were stationed in the Air Force, my mom would bake up a storm for friends at the base, neighbors, my dad’s squadrons, and for care packages. This is one since it uses refrigerated cookie dough, it was always easy to whip up last minute.

Chocolate Chip Cake Recipe Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Shape your  Chocolate Chunk cookie dough into a big ball.  You may have extra dough left to make the 21 ounces needed, so bake those cookies too.

Use a rolling pin and a smidge of flour on the rolling pin to roll out your dough onto your pizza stone.

This was a bit tricky; you need to do it quickly before the dough warms up too much.  I spun the pizza stone while rolling the dough out to make it easier.

How To Make Chocolate Spread

After you have spread the cream cheese, start making the chocolate pudding topping.

In a small bowl, whisk together the pint of half and half and the instant chocolate pudding.

Whisk for 2 minutes until well combined. If you are baking with a kid, make sure you keep an eye on the chocolate pudding to make sure it is mixed completely.

Once your pudding is prepared, spread it on top of the cream cheese layer.
