Making dinner as kid-friendly as possible is a must in my house. If I can make it kid-friendly, quick, and easy I’m a happy mom! Almost every weeknight someone has an activity that requires us to rush out the door. One of the kids’ favorite choices for dinner, lunch, and protein powered snacking is Tyson® Chicken Nuggets. As a mom, I feel bad if my kids are eating the exact same thing over and over. They love Tyson® Chicken Nuggets so it is time to spice up our nugget dinners.
Pasta is always another big hit in our home. Chicken Parmigiana is a favorite meal that is often too time-consuming to create. Some nights there is just not enough time to make this yummy classic even though I know that it is something everyone will eat and enjoy. In my home, finding something everyone can agree on is rare. I decided to try and create a version of our favorite dish with the kids favorite Tyson® Chicken Nuggets. It was a hit with my kids and also with the neighbors we had over for dinner that night as well!
Chicken Parmigiana Nuggets Ingredients:
- 1 bag of Tyson® Chicken Nuggets we used Dino Shaped
- Spaghetti sauce
- Shredded Parmesan cheese
Chicken Parmigiana Nuggets Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
Count out how many Tyson® Chicken Nuggets you want to cook and spread them out on a baking stone or a cookie sheet
While I am waiting for the oven to warm up I start a pot of pasta to pair up with their dinner and green beans as well
Once the oven is ready put the Tyson® Chicken Nuggets in the oven and set a timer for 7 minutes
When the timer goes off remove the pan of Nuggets and change the oven to the broil setting
Using a spoon spread some spaghetti sauce on each nugget
Top each sauced nugget with a pinch of Parmesan cheese
Once chicken nuggets are topped put them back in the oven for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted
After the cheese has melted remove the nuggets from the oven and serve!
What is your favorite way to serve up chicken nuggets??
