It’s amazing how easy these are to make up! All you need to do is mix up the two ingredients, and bam, great brownies!! The kids liked them, but I thought it was more like a thick fudge consistency and not like a real brownie. They were still pretty good but not a huge favorite of mine. I may try using a different variety of brownie mix the next time.

2 Ingredients Pumpkin Brownies Ingredients:
- Canned Pumpkin– Fresh pumpkin puree will cook differently than canned pumpkin puree.
- Fudge Brownie Box Mix-I used fudgy brownie mix because that is the constancy my family likes and prefers. You can use a different variety or a dark chocolate variety as well. Instead of pumpkin brownies with brownie mix, you can also use a homemade brownie.
**You will not need the oil, water, or eggs listed on the box mix, just the brownie mix powder in the bag in the box**
How TO Make WW 2 Ingredient Pumpkin Brownies:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
Spray a 9X13 pan (I used a Pyrex Pan) with a nonstick spray, if you grease the pan with Crisco it will add points and calories to the recipe.

Mix together both the pumpkin and brownie mix in a bowl.
**Pro-Tip** This is a thick batter, add the dry powder slowly to the wet pumpkin in the bowl**
It gets really thick, I slowly added in the brownie mix and it was still hard to mix up with a whisk.
Bake for about 15-20 minutes and be sure to check for being cooked through
They are thick enough you could cut them like fudge for a get-together or potluck this fall.

How to store WEight Watchers 2 Ingredient Pumpkin Brownies
Either store in the pan with a lid or move to an airtight container. Keep sealed for up to 5 days, though mine didn’t last that long with kids.

was really disappointed in these followed the directions and with only two ingredients wasn’t hard and they were so thin and chewy, I made sure they were done checked with a toothpick . What did I do wrong??
v says
Use a cupcake pan, cake mix, bake @ 400° for 23 minutes. I have been making them that way for a few years. Good luck… They are good! 🙂
Beverley Hickey says
What size can of Pumpkin? Does anyone know if you can use white cake mix & pumpkin spice, want to know if they taste like pumpkin or not.
Thanks
George says
When I make my pumpkin muffins I use a 15 oz. can of pumpkin. I sometimes find it to hard to stir and I cheat and add just a splash of water. Hope this helps.
Marsha says
I was told to use a small amt of water so it is not so hard on mixer. I use 1/4 c water. My leader told this.
millie says
I do angel food and pumpkin its really good
Jenny says
I have not tried that combination that sounds amazing!
Lillian says
I would use spice cake mix instead of white cake mix
Amanda says
I agree! The texture was too spongy and the flavor wasn’t even that good. I will not be making these again!
Oliver says
I tweaked the recipe after reading the reviews and my version was much better! Use three tablespoons of milk. 1/2 cup olive oil. 1 egg. Pumpkin pie spice to your liking. Add pumpkin and brownie mix. Mix everything together and follow baking instructions on the brownie box
Jenny says
The olive oil will add in points so be sure to recalculate your Weight Watchers Points.
tammy says
I haven’t made these yet, but from the comments I would make it 3 ingredients – add 2 or 3 eggs.
Nancy says
I just finished making these, just as the directions instructed. They are delicious! Thank you!
Jenny says
Your welcome!! Glad you liked them!
Traci says
Follow the brownie directions/ingredients?
Jenny says
No just mix together the pumpkin and the brownie dry mix.
Kelsie says
What a yummy recipe idea for the fall!
Susan says
worst weight watchers dessert I ever made! Didn’t like these ones at all!! The pumpkin muffins are much better
sharon taylor says
I didn’t like them at all. They are four Freestyle SPs & not worth it! I do think I will make them again however, next time into drop cookies instead of brownies. The crispy pieces around the edge were pretty tasty.
Bev says
Could you tell me what size can of pumpkiin pie filling you use for these….Thanks in advance
Christine simmons says
Use canned pumpkin not pie filling.
Cheryl says
Don’t expect these to be like the brownies you are used to. That said, I loved them. The texture is different, but the taste is good. I added pumpkin spice and cinnamon. I will try them in the cupcake tin next time. I bake for 20 mins in 9×13 glass pan.
Megan says
Okay, the recipe doesn’t quite clarify: do you make the brownie mix or just add the powder??? Excited to make these!
Jelli says
These brownies sound amazing, Jenny! I have to admit that though my favorite brownies are 100% homemade, I’m still a sucker for the mixes since I grew up on them. Love pumpkin too, so Ill have to try these. Thanks for sharing. Pinning!
Linda at Mixed Kreations says
I love brownies! Maybe if I make these I won’t feel as guilty when eating them because they will have pumpkin in them and pumpkin is good for you (-; Thanks for sharing! Pinning!
Tiffany says
Yummmm! I’m going to make these for Thanksgiving this year.
paula atchison says
Awful. Complete flop.
maria says
Made these tonight….thought they were delicious! Even my picky son loved. Made in 9x 13 pan. Look like not enough batter…but, after done are a good size. Only thing, i had to bake a lot longer than 15-20 min. More like 30-35 min. Very moist and chewy. Wondering smart points value?
Brandi says
I I think she said 3 points per serving but I’m sure that varies depending on the size you cut your brownies ??
Christina Culbertson says
I love this recipe.
Sherri says
Has anyone ever tried making them with the sugar free brownie mix I’m trying it today and don’t want to be disappointed
Susan Seal says
Yes! Pillsbury No sugar added cake mix is great with the pumpkin.
dori says
I was the only one in my family that liked these. My 4 year old tasted and spit them out. They taste healthy.
Karen says
These were a huge disappointment. I regret the time and money to make this.
Tanya says
I believe I did this wrong at this point they are in the oven so what do I do? I made it with the bigger can of pumpkin so double the pumpkin with one box of brownie!
Jenny says
Oh no did they turn out?
Kellie says
Tried these yesterday and they turned out great! Also needed more around 30 mins to cook through. Resulted in fudgey texture as mentioned above. Awesome, thanks!
Jenny says
So glad you liked them!!
Dawn says
Found a sugar free cake mix and did them into muffins. The kids and I loved them. I couldn’t figure out how to calculate the points. I’ll try your idea next. Love it! Thanks.
Jenny says
I would plug in the nutritional information on the side and how many servings the whole box is. I need to find sugar free mixes I know it would bring down the points a lot.
Amy D Shepard says
Is the nutritional facts on the side just foe the powder mix? Or it it for the whole thing with eggs and oil?
Jenny says
Its just for the powder on the side of the box. Sometimes it will say prepared instructions on some brands
Maggie Wilcox says
Why not just buy the Pillsbury sugar free brownie mix for 3 points and turn out great
Jenny says
I honestly hadn’t thought about it! I need to see if I can find a sugar free brownie mix. Does it taste much different?
Sandie B says
I didn’t care for this recipe at all, but love the pumpkin muffins made with spice cake and canned muffins!
Toni sibley says
For nutitional value, you should be able to add the nutritional value of both the canned pumpkin and dry brownie mix. Then divide that by how many pieces you end up with after you cut the whole brownie.
Joyce says
I made these three years ago and shared them with my then-landlady. We ate half the pan that night, and I sent half of the remainder home with her. We liked them very much, but we’re both also into healthier eating. Just have to adjust one’s expectations, not really think of them as brownies, but as a delicious baked chocolate treat. I’ve made them and poured homemade dark chocolate ganache on them, upping the chocolate factor by a million, or so. I’ve also added dark chocolate chips to the batch, and now there are Lily’s chocolate chips that are made with Stevia as the sweetener, and they’re excellent!
Oh, rats, now I want to make a batch of brownies, but it’s almost midnight…
Theresa Putz says
I haven’t made these yet, but have been told they are very dry. Wondering if you could add some unsweetened applesauce to it? Thanks
Tina says
Has anyone made these with the smaller box of brownie mix and the pumpkin? It would be for a 9×9 pan instead of the 9/12. Thanks!!
Michelle Huhn says
I can’t find where the points are per serving?
Monica DelMedico says
I thought they turned out well; I made a few tweaks based on the reviews & trying to increase the protein. I added 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice, 3 scoops of collagen powder, & 2 eggs. I baked it for 21 min & cut it into 32 brownies.
