Crockpot Beef Tips and Gravy

Instructions
Trim any excess fat or gristle off the stew meat if you want.
Season the meat with salt and black pepper.
Spray your crockpot with an olive sprayer or a nonstick spray.
In a sauté pan, add a little olive oil and turn the burner to medium-high heat.
Once the oil in the pan is hot, start to drop the stew meat into the pan.
Once the meat has started searing, aka browning, remove the pan from the heat.
Remove the browned stew meat from the pan and place it in the bottom of the crock pot.
Open the onion soup mix and au jus gravy, and sprinkle the powders over the stew meat.
Slice the butter into small pieces and place the butter on top of the meat in the crockpot.
Pour in your bone broth.
Turn your crockpot on low, cover it, and cook for at least 4-6 hours. If your crockpot is set to high or cooks hot, it may finish in 2-4 hours.
You can stir partially through the cooking time.
Once the meat is forktender, turn your crockpot off, or flip to keep warm, and stir.
Allow to rest 10-15 minutes before serving.
Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
