Ingredients

  • 9 TBSP Brown Gravy Mix
  • 3 Cups Water
  • 1/2 Brick Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 Stick Butter
  • Milk
  • 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • Popcorn Chicken
  • Corn
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Line a cookie sheet with tin foil or use a baking stone to layout your chicken on.

  2. Peel your potatoes and cube them up to be boiled into mashed potatoes.  I used gold potatoes to make our bowls but you can use any type of potato.
  3. Start a pot of water to boil for the potatoes.
  4. Once your water is at a boil add in the potatoes and preheat your oven according to your chicken directions.
  5. Allow the potatoes to boil until they are ready to be mashed down, normally you can slice one easily with a fork.
  6. Use a strainer to strain the water off of the potatoes.
  7. In a mixing bowl, I used my Kitchen Aid Mixer to make the mashed potatoes.  Add into your mixing bowl your cream cheese, butter, and minced garlic into the bowl with the potatoes.
  8. Slowly add in the milk to get the potatoes to the consistency that you want.
  9. Mix on low until well mixed and the consistency you want.
  10. Cook up your brown gravy, I buy the big container at Costco of brown gravy or you can also use a jarred gravy, this would work great in a time pinch.

  11. Also, cook your corn so once everything is done you are ready to assemble your bowls.
  12. I set mine up in an assembly line so everyone could make theirs as they see fit!
  13. I layer mine as potatoes, corn, chicken, gravy, and then cheese.
  14. Serve and enjoy!!!
