Crock Pot Shredded Chicken

Crock Pot Shredded Chicken is a time saver in the kitchen for dinners and a healthy way to prep chicken! Use your kitchen aid mixer for easy shredding.

  • Chicken broth
  • Water
  • Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast


  1. Spray your Crock Pot with nonstick spray or use a crockpot liner.

  2. Fill your Crock-Pot with 1/4 parts of broth and 3/4 parts of water.

  3. Place your boneless skinless chicken in the crockpot and cover it with a lid.

  4. Cook on low for 4-6 hours till chicken is done
  5. Remove chicken from Crock Pot and place into Kitchen Aid Mixer.

  6. Mix on low with paddle attachment till you reach the "shredded" level you want. The longer or faster it goes the finer the shred is on the chicken.

Recipe Notes

*You can add some juice to the shredded chicken for moisture*


Portion out to freeze in bags using a Food Saver or I use Snapware containers
