Easy Low Carb Keto Bagels

These Easy Low Carb Keto Bagels are perfect for breakfast on the Ketogenic diet. Using doughnut pans makes it easy, but the cheese is tasty!

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups of Almond Flour 
  • 1 Tbsp Baking powder 
  • 3 Eggs
  • 3 cups of mozzarella cheese
  • 5 Tbsp cream cheese half a brick
  • Everything bagel Seasoning 

Instructions

  1. Start out by preheating your oven to 425 degrees
  2. In a bowl beat one large egg for your egg wash
  3. In a bigger bowl combine together your almond flour  and baking powder and sift together
  4. Next, add your 2 eggs to the flour mixture and combine together well, it is easy to do with your hand
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl place your cheese and cream cheese.
  6. Microwave the cheese for 1 minute and 30 seconds and then mix
  7. Return to the microwave for a 1 minute and mix again
  8. Repeat until the mixture is well combined
  9. Dump in the dough mixture into the cheese mixture and mix until everything is mixed well, Katie used her hands as well for this step.  If the dough isn't workable just pop it back in the microwave to soften it up more
  10. Make a log or roll out of your dough and cut into even pieces, we cut ours into twelve since we made a double batch
  11. Once you have your dough in the mold, use a pastry brush to do an egg wash on top of each bagel, and sprinkle with Everything But The Bagel Sesame Seasoning.
  12. Bake in oven for about 12-15 minutes at 425 degrees
  13. Remove from oven when done.  I have to say Oven gloves are amazing when using silicone, you can hold the pan so much better.
  14. Allow to cool and then remove from pan
  15. Cut open the bagel and enjoy, you can eat with cream cheese or add in an egg to make a breakfast sandwich!!
