Creamy Easy Beef Stroganoff Recipe

  • 1 Lb Beef
  • 2 Tbsp Butter 
  • Mushrooms
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • 1 Can Beef Broth
  • 2 Tbsp Ketchup 
  • Minced garlic 
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Flour 
  • 1 1/2 Cups Sour Cream
  • 1 Pkg Egg noodles


  1. Start a pot of water boiling
  2. Slice up your beef if needed
  3. Warm up a large skillet and start to melt in your butter
  4. Add the mushroom and onions to the melted butter
  5. Saute until the onion is tender and set in a separate bowl to the side
  6. In the skillet drop in your steak  and cook until light brown
  7. *Keep 1/3 cup of beef broth off the side for finishing the meal
  8. Add into your skillet the remaining broth, ketchup, garlic, and salt
  9. Cover with a lid and simmer for about 15 minutes
  10. Once the noodles are done coat them with butter
  11. Blend together this 1/3 cup beef broth with the flour
  12. Mix into the skillet the broth and flour and then bring back to a boil while stirring constantly for 1 minute
  13. Lower the heat and add in the mushroom and onions into the skillet
  14. Stir in the sour cream to make the mixture creamy
  15. Serve over the egg noodles, we mixed everything together into a big pot to mix into one big dish
