This Cornflake Chicken Tender Recipe is perfect weeknight dinner!!! Pair this up with easy side dishes and veggies for a complete dinner the kids will love!
Measure out your cornflakes into a zippered bag and close the bag.
Use a rolling pin or your hands to crumble up the cornflakes to make your breading.
Dump the Cornflake crumbles into a mixing bowl and add in the Parmesan cheese, pepper, and garlic salt.
Melt your butter into liquid in a microwave-safe bowl.
Line a cookie sheet with foil, next time I plan to spray mine with a non-stick spray for some reason they stuck this time.
If you need to cut down a chicken breast to make the tender strips.
Dip each strip into your butter and make sure it is coated.
Then roll the buttered chicken into your cornflake mixture.
Place stip onto your foil-lined pan.
Repeat this process until they are all coated.
You may end up needing to mix more breading or if you have breading leftover spread the remaining over the top of the chicken tenders to add more seasonings and crisp.
Bake in your oven, I started checking the temperature of the Cornflake Chicken Tenders at 20 minutes, they were done around 25 minutes.
