It’s no secret as a parent sometimes there are days whereas a stay at home parent you just long for some adult interaction! I am blessed that I have friends that can relate to and that are also work at home moms. There are days when I go without interacting with another adult at all, so it’s nice to be able to pick up the phone and know another friend gets why you are calling just to say hi. Having a girls night in whether you work at home, work outside the home, or are a stay at home mom is important, socializing even as an adult can help our mental health. Now with being a single mom, it’s even harder for me to be able to get out when other moms can. One thing that has been a sanity saver for me is to host a moms night in at my place instead of trying to get out to other mom houses. It works out great we coordinate bedtime and schedules to where it works for us, thankfully my kids are older and will stay in bed so it’s a great set up. Now, this most recent night in was just me and my girlfriend Jenn but it was much needed. Both of us are watching what we eat and trying to make better options. We picked up 3 different items for our sushi girls night in and they were all amazing! Good food and drinks are always a must have!

My girls night in is usually pizza, coke and a movie. Your idea sure sounds like a better idea.

That sushi looks really good and diet coke is my absolute fav. I’m not having a girls night, but this will be a great dinner tonight.

I desperately need a girls night in! I love the idea of trying out each other’s favorite workout programs. That would be fun and maybe I could get a workout buddy that way too!
