Let’s get real for a minute coming back to real life after summer vacation can be so hard! I don’t know about you but I am so much more active during the summer. That has lead to me indulging a bit more then I should with not gaining a whole bunch of weight. Well, let’s face it is fall and the activeness has been cut down quite a bit. Thank you to Sweet Defeat for sponsoring this post and providing me a sample to use for my review. All opinions are truthful to my experience with the product.
Now we ended our summer with a bang and the craziness continued into September as well this year! We went to Montana (you may have seen if you follow me on Instagram -> here) for a family wedding and vacation. We then came back to go camping, the kid’s school was delayed due to a teacher strike, emergency surgery for me, and then another wedding at the end of the month as well.
All of the food and the drinks I have been enjoying nonstop has lead to some really bad habits to form. These new habits have been a pain to kick to the curb as well, amazing how hard we work to build up good habits and they can just poof. I was excited when I was able to partner up with Sweet Defeat! And I have to say it has far exceeded my expectations!
What Is Sweet Defeat And How Does It Work?
Sweet Defeat is a lozenge that is made to will block the sweet taste receptors on the tongue, stop the signals, and end the cravings of sugar.
All you do is dissolve a Sweet Defeat lozenge on your tongue. The formula then binds to your sweet taste receptors, suppresses sweet taste, and reduces sugar cravings – in seconds.
Clinically Proven by peer-reviewed medical studies by Dr. Eric Stice, Ph.D., and Dr. Sonja Yokum, Ph.D., demonstrate that the Sweet Defeat lozenge reduces consumption of high sugar foods. ( You can read more on their website -> here )
Did Sweet Defeat Work?
I am so excited how well this has worked. Once I have broken the habit it is so much easier not to overindulge. Sweet Defeat recommends you use 2 to 3 lozenges a day. I opted for twice a day because thankfully I had kept up my morning routine of a protein shake and water all morning. I opted to take mine after my lunch and after my dinner.
I was rather surprised how well it curbed my sweet cravings. With working at home there is always cupboards I can go graze in and treats to be had. I was surprised I didn’t even really care to have my zero sports drink that I normally have either. I loved that it worked on my cravings so well.
Plus my body had all the perks of cutting back on sugar!! I don’t feel sluggish, I don’t get hungry as fast since I am avoiding the sugary snacks, and I just feel overall better than with all the sugar too!
