School is out and the kids are loving playing with their friends all day and well into the evening hours. Quite often all of their friends end up at our house, and all of my kids love to be hosts and hostesses to them. With how hot this summer has been ice cream is a favorite treat of all the kids and even better when it’s an ice cream sundae bar for them! I personally love that the only mess was the spoons since the kids ate the dish! The kids have loved making Smores but some nights I haven’t wanted to make a fire since its so hot! So the kids came up with the idea of a Smores Ice Cream Sundae!! It worked out great set up like an ice cream bar sundae to make their own creations!
Smores Ice Cream Sundae Ingredients:
- Blue Bunny Ice Cream *We used chocolate chip and Vanilla Chocolate combination
- Chocolate Syrup
- Mini Marshmallows
- Graham Cracker Crumbles
- Waffle Cone Bowls
- Chocolate Chips
- Optional Sprinkles
We built our sundaes by the kids picking their flavor of ice cream. All of the kids loved that they were able to customize their sundaes especially since my oldest can’t have marshmallows cause of her braces! All took pride in topping their sundaes on their own and since it was a plastic tablecloth and we were outside clean up was a breeze, you can’t beat that.
What is your favorite topping for ice cream sundae? Have you done a themed Ice cream sundae bar before??
