Now personally, I am an emotional eater, take for instance, if I get upset, stressed, or anxious I have a desire eat and just veg. Just a couple weeks a girlfriend and I were talking how crazy it is we have had bad weigh ins and we instantly want no good for you foods. Crazy no good logic but it is what it is. Recognizing things like this your self is important to move forward with a healthy life style.
Simple Ways To Live A Healthy Lifestyle:
Carry Water With You- I don’t know what it is but the act of carrying a water bottle with me all the time makes me more conscious of being active. Plus drinking water all day is a great way to help out with your weight loss goals and also has amazing health benefits for your body as well. I have also found that it can help to curb bored eating if you are drinking all water all of the time.
Plan Out Your Meals- It is amazing how fast when we have no plans for a meal we slid into comfort foods or a drive thru. Having your meals planned out help to make sure that you are fueling your body properly for being active.
30 Minutes Of Movement A Day- Planning out at least a 3o minute chunk of time to be active and moving really helps you to feel on track and good about yourself as well. Setting an attainable goal of movement will help to you move even more as the days go on.
Me Time- This is a big one that I know I have problems with doing. Taking me time is important to take some time every day just for your self from a bubble bath, to reading a book, or even just watching a quick show alone. This can do leaps and bounds for refreshing yourself and your outlook on yourself as well.
Other Goals Then The Scale- While the scale is an important factor being active and if you are trying to lose weight it shouldn’t be the only instrument of measurement. Be sure to focus on your inches, how you feel doing work outs, how your body feels, and how active you are. It is so easy to get hung up on the number so have other ways to gauge your health than the scale.
