This Oven-Baked Ranch Pork Chops Recipe is one I knew instantly would be a hit with my family! With fall here, the gloomy weather has arrived in Washington State and is here to stay, sadly. Ranch seasoning is one of those flavors I can put on meat, and the kids will eat it.

Now, being on Weight Watchers, my family eats much of the same foods as me. I have gotten to where I can look at a recipe and either modify it or know right away if I can work it into my points. I know the meat would be lean, and the oil amount would be minimal per serving. However, the flavor was a total win!

WHAT IS Weight Watchers?
When starting a new weight loss program or diet change, consult a doctor or physician about personal health concerns. It is a good idea to have blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and hormones checked at a physical before and during being on the WW program.
New to Weight Watchers?? Also known as WW, a weight loss program uses points assigned to food to track and lose weight. When you sign up, you take an assessment that will assign you a point value to eat daily and a weekly allowance. You can carry over 4 points from the day into your weekly budget, which is handy when you need more points.
I have been on Weight Watchers since 2011. They have had Points Plus Value, WW Smartpoints, Blue Plan, Green Plan, Purple Plan, WW Personal Points, and now Weight Watchers Points. The new Weight Watchers Simplified plan is the new program launched in November 2022, similar to previous plans like WW Smartpoints, with some color plans. ( You can see the Weight Watchers Zero Point Foods 2023 -> here)
No matter the WW plan, it works to help you learn healthy eating habits. I have hit my lifetime goal weight several times but stopped following the plan and tracking, so the weight does creep back on.
Right now, you can head on over -> here and sign up for Weight Watchers for $5 a month for the first three months.

Oven Roasted Ranch Pork Chops Ingredients:
Ranch Seasoning– You can use packets or dry ranch seasoning from a container to make this. I have a container of dry ranch seasoning because of how much we use. If you want Homemade Ranch Seasoning is amazing in this dish
How To Make Baked Ranch Pork Chops:
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.
Take a baking pan and line it with foil. I am a Pyrex girl thru and thru! I love the ones that have handles for easy oven removal. However, since there wasn’t a full family for dinner that night, I used a small pan to make these in.
In a small bowl, mix your oil and ranch seasoning.
Lay your pork chops out on the tin foil in the pan. You can trim off any excess fat off the pork chops as well. I used boneless for our dinner, but you could also use bone-in pork chops.
Be sure to salt and pepper your pork chops to your preference and taste.
Next, drizzle the oil combination over your pork chops.
Top your pork chops with dried parsley.
Bake your pork chops for about 30 minutes.
Double-check that they cook to an internal temp over 160 for pork and serve!!
I paired these up with baby potatoes. It was a fantastic dinner. (You can get my Oven Roasted Garlic Potatoes recipe -> here)

Weight Watchers Points For Ranch Pork Chops
Now for mine, this is where it can get tricky to track WW points. I tried to keep my kind of off to the side of the pan on its own and only did a little brushing of the mixture on mine. I also put dibs on the most trimmed piece of pork chops.
For tracking, you can see that a ¼ cup of Olive Oil was 17 points. Now, I eyeballed my oil and called it one tablespoon for my tracking even though I think it was less oil. I also weighed my meat to get the right amount after it was cooked. My pork chop was 3.5 ounces. So I tracked it as 4 points for my meat.
