It is that time of year, here in Washington, where it isn’t so depressing to open your blinds or your curtains. Why, do you ask?? The sun is out for once and the rain clouds are starting to get some breaks in them. Thank you to Windex® for sponsoring these Easy Ways To Deep Clean Your Windows, this post contains affiliate links.
Now, one of my favorite things about my house is my kitchen. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and my favorite feature is the window over the sink. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen at the sink doing dishes and cleaning. As much as the appliances do a lot of work in the kitchen, so does that darn kitchen sink. It is almost refreshing to be able to look out that window, but with where it is, it gets splashed from the sink, and just in general, gets dusty as well.
Easy Ways To Clean Your Windows:
Gather Up Your Supplies-> I only use four supplies when I am cleaning the windows. It’s an easy list. I use a toothbrush, paper towels, an old cleaning cloth, and Windex® Foaming Glass Cleaner.
Wipe Down The Window Sill And Frame -> I just get a wet paper towel for this part but, you can use cleaner. Our house is a rental so the paint, for some reason, on the windowsills, comes off really easily. So, water is how I clean mine in this house. I do the same with our window frame as well.
Clean The Window Itself-> Now, for the fun part, cleaning the glass. This part always goes fast for me. You may have noticed I used the Windex® Foaming Glass Cleaner. I love that it foams up and doesn’t run down the window! We have been using Windex® for years and I am in love with the improvements they have made with this product. I could tell that the Windex® Foaming Glass Cleaner was less elbow grease out of me! It works great on Glass & Mirrors, Counters & Appliances, Stove-tops & Sinks, Stainless Steel & Chrome, Sealed Granite, and many other surfaces!! The other major bonus is that you can find it at Walmart!!
One Final Wipe Down-> Respray the window, window frame, and window track and give a final wipe down with clean paper towels.
Have you started spring cleaning yet?? What will you use Windex® Foaming Glass Cleaner to spring clean this year?
