Isn’t it funny how we want our kids to eat better but sometimes our own eating habits seem to stop us from being a good example? I am not much of a veggie lover I will eat them but I won’t go out of my way to include things like broccoli straight up on the plate. Slip the broccoli into Macaroni and Cheese and I am a happy girl. Now being can be a parent is a ton of work, finding ways to cut back on dishes, complete and total win for this mom. Now I don’t know about your kids but mine tend to resist veggies. Wanna know a top trick to get them to try new ones? Throw it in macaroni and cheese. Now protein is huge in our meal plans so I went ahead and threw in some chicken as well as the broccoli. This meal prep took less than 5 minutes; the worst part was waiting for the water to boil!!

Easy Broccoli Chicken Macaroni and Cheese Ingredients:
- White cheddar macaroni and cheese (I used two boxes)
- Ready to eat chicken breast
Easy Broccoli Chicken Macaroni and Cheese Directions
Begin to boil your water for your macaroni and cheese
While waiting for your water to boil cut up your chicken and broccoli, I chose to cut off most of the stems so my kids were less likely not to pick it out
Once your water is at a rolling boil add in your pasta and broccoli
Boil until pasta is tender and strain in an over the kitchen sink strainer
Take the pan and place in your butter and your milk according to the directions on the box and your add in your chicken on a low heat
Allow the chicken to warm up and then put in your pasta and cheese sauce
