I can finally say it the first day of school is almost here, it seems like everyone in other parts of the country have been in school forever! My kids start next week and they are at the point where they are actually getting excited. My son’s first question is what will our after school snacks are this year mom. Yup, he’s a typical boy fixated on his snacks and his next meal!! (I have included links to some great products that I have bought on my own to make my life easier. You can buy them too through my online sales links.)
However, as a mom, I do love the idea of easy after school snacks!! We do a lot of portioning out of big bulk packaging using zippered bags, paper bags, and of course markers to keep things even with the kids. Now I make sure it’s easy to grab since the first thing they want when they get home from school is to go into the kitchen for an after school snack!! I try to make sure at least once a week I whip up a new snack for them. ! One thing I love about our day and age is the ways we can quickly find new recipes from Pinterest to Kindle books on Amazon any of them can be pulled up on a smartphone!

Hi, Jenny ~ Great round up of after school snacks! I love to make a snack for my kids {they are teenagers} and sit with them for a bit before they start homework. It’s a fun part of our day.

A lot of these snacks would be great in adult lunches for something different.
